Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Can I freeze or pause my membership?
Yes, IPX Brooklyn offers a membership freeze option. You can freeze your membership for a fee of $30/month, for a maximum of 3 months per calendar year. During the freeze period, you will not be charged your regular membership dues and your facility access will be temporarily suspended. Requests must be submitted prior to your next billing cycle — the freeze takes effect starting with your next scheduled billing date. To request a freeze, contact our team at bk@indoorpickleballx.com or (929) 593-4432.

Membership cancellations will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle. For example, if your billing cycle runs June 15 – July 14, 2026, your cancellation will be processed on July 14, 2026, and you will not be charged for the following cycle. In the meantime, you will continue to enjoy full membership benefits until the cancellation date.

Your Founding Member rate is a lifetime price guarantee — but only as long as your membership stays active. If you cancel, you will permanently forfeit the Founding rate and would need to rejoin at the standard rate.
Cancellation windows vary by session type: Court Reservations — cancel more than 24 hours in advance. Open Play Sessions — cancel more than 8 hours in advance. Cancellations made within the window are automatically refunded: punch card sessions are returned to your package, and all other payments are refunded to your account credit. Cancellations made outside the window (within 24h for court reservations, within 8h for open play) are not eligible for a refund.
A $20 no-show fee applies to missed bookings. If you can’t make it, please cancel in advance to avoid the charge.
All bookings are made through our CourtReserve system. You can book online via our booking page or download the Indoor Pickleball X app for the fastest experience. Walk-ins are also welcome during staffed hours.
No need to bring your own equipment. Balls are provided at every court, and paddles are available to rent at the front desk for $8/paddle. Of course, you’re always welcome to bring your own gear.
A DUPR rating is only required for our DUPR-gated sessions. All other play — drop-in open play, court reservations, and lessons — is open to everyone, no rating needed.
Absolutely. We’re located in Greenpoint, right next to the Pulaski Bridge — a short bike ride or subway trip from LIC, Williamsburg, DUMBO, and Lower Manhattan. Indoor bike and scooter parking is available on-site.
